
We hope to improve Yelps thinking about their approuch to reviews versus revenue.
Yelp needs to quit focusing and revenue and get back to review basics. Yelps review filter has been out of control for over a year now. They have been consistently filtering over 40% of the reviews on Yelp. Yelp has offer sponsored advertising to 3 star rated business listings. Why would Yelp expose their yelpers to questionable reviewed businesses? Only the best reviewed businesses should be able to take advantage of the Yelp sponsored advertising. Yelp has also been accused of online review extortion. Yelp is also known for whining about Google tactics. Google has now implemented reviews in their Google Places for business to take a bite out of Yelps business.
